Allison Waterworth, Psy.D.   – Psychologist, Owner, FAA Consultant

Dr. Allison Waterworth, Psychologist and Evaluator

Dr. Waterworth is a board-certified psychologist with 25 years of experience in psychodiagnostic assessment. Psychodiagnostic assessment is a broad term which encompasses Psychoeducational, Neuropsychological, and Psychological Evaluations. Dr. Waterworth has developed expertise in the evaluations of learning disabilities and learning-related conditions, in both children and adults. She has obtained board eligibility in Neuropsychology, and board certification in Couple and Family Psychology. She is compassionate in the assessment process and clear in her feedback regarding the findings.

Additionally, Dr. Waterworth has been appointed to serve as a Special Consultant to the Federal Air Surgeon in Neuropsychology. As such she brings great depth and experience to and for Airmen seeking medical certification with the FAA.

Dr. Waterworth has assisted hundreds of adults in obtaining accommodations from licensing boards (Bar, NCLEX, Department of Consumer Affairs) and for high-stakes examinations (LSAT, GMAT, MCAT, DAT, GRE, SAT, ACT).

Dr. Waterworth earned a Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of Maryland in 1991. She graduated Summa Cum Laude (top 1% of her class). She also was invited to join the prestigious Phi Beta Kappa due to her well-rounded academic curriculum.

Dr. Waterworth earned her Master’s and Doctoral degrees from the Florida Institute of Technology, where she specialized in Psychological Assessment and Family Psychology. She was awarded her doctoral degree in 1997, after an internship at the Veteran’s Affairs Hospital in the San Fernando Valley, CA.

Stacey Nelson, PhD – Psychologist

Stacey Nelson, Ph.D. is a licensed clinical psychologist who specializes in psychoeducational, psychodiagnostic, and neuropsychologist assessment. She has been providing clinical assessment services for over 20 years, with a specialty in the evaluation of attention, learning, and/or psychological disorders for students seeking academic and/or standardized testing accommodations. Dr. Nelson received extensive training in psychological and neuropsychological assessment during graduate school at the California School of Professional Psychology, a pre-doctoral internship at the Veteran’s Administration Hospital in Sepulveda, CA, and a post-doctoral fellowship at Kaiser Permanente Medical Center. She also provides training and clinical supervision for students, trainees, and psychological assistants in the area of psychological and neuropsychological assessment. 

Robert Tarleton  -Technology Support

Robert Tarleton is the technology expert and security support person for the Center.  Robert has 30 plus years of experience in information technology and database management.  He ensures that your records are always stored securely.  He maintains the technology systems for the Center such that contact with Dr. Waterworth is accessible and easy.  Records are maintained to the highest standard and can be sent to you within 24 hours, with your written consent.  Robert ensures that the Center remains in compliance with the Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act.  Robert is also a pilot and flight instructor.
